These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ace English website (the “Website”) and our free accounts, paid courses and any subscription services we offer (the “Services”).

By using our Website or signing up for our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.
2. Our Services
Ace English provides free learning resources and free learner accounts, alongside paid online courses and any membership or subscription products we offer. The product description and checkout explain what is included, the access period and whether payment is one-off or recurring. A one-off course purchase does not create a subscription. Existing Club members retain access according to their membership terms.
- Paid subscriptions renew at the billing interval shown at checkout, including monthly or annual plans where offered, until renewal is cancelled. A free account alone does not create a paid subscription.
- You can cancel subscription renewal from your account settings or contact hello@aceenglishclub.com for help. Cancelling renewal is separate from exercising statutory cancellation or refund rights.
3. Payment & Pricing
- Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal, according to the payment method selected at checkout. Check the total charge and billing interval before placing your order.
- The currency, total price and applicable taxes are shown before you pay. Where a local currency option is available, check the final amount and currency at checkout.
- We may update pricing, but you will be informed before any changes take effect.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
- Statutory cancellation rights may apply, including a 14-day cancellation period for eligible distance contracts. Your rights depend on the supply of services or digital content and the applicable law.
- Accessing a lesson does not by itself remove statutory cancellation rights. Any loss of the cancellation right for digital content requires the prior express consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation required by law. These Terms alone do not provide that consent.
- To cancel under your statutory rights or request a refund, email hello@aceenglishclub.com with enough information to identify your account and order. Your legal rights where content or services are faulty or not as described remain unaffected.
5. User Conduct
You agree to:
- Use the Website and Services for personal, lawful purposes only.
- Not share your account with others.
- Not attempt to copy, redistribute, or exploit our content commercially without permission.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including lessons, graphics, and materials, belongs to Ace English Limited unless otherwise stated.
7. Limitation of Liability
We aim to provide accurate, useful content, but individual learning results vary. Nothing in these Terms excludes your statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss from using our Services.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Major changes will be communicated via email or website notification.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
