The Past

• Is/are thought to have + past participle: people think it happened this way.
• Is/are reputed to have + past participle: there is a legend or story that it happened.
• Is/are alleged to have + past participle: someone says it happened (usually a crime or mistake).

Advanced Adverbs 

Inevitably

• Meaning: Almost certain to happen; unavoidable.
• Use: To describe an outcome that is a natural result of a situation.

Remarkably

• Meaning: In a way that is very surprising or impressive.
• Use: To highlight an unexpected or positive achievement.

Regrettably

• Meaning: A formal way to say unfortunately.
• Use: To express sadness or disappointment about a fact or a refusal.
