  • Verbs in the past which do not add -ed, but change word.
  • E.g.s went, did, had etc.

Time expressions

  • Ago = used for the past
  • Last = to show previous
  • In = used for years and moments in time

 

Examples

1. We went to a concert 2 years ago.
2. Last night, I watched a scary film.
3. He went to university in 2018.
