Local Architecture

Read the text below about a local clock tower and answer the questions.

Local Architecture

The newly restored clock tower in the city centre has finally reopened to the public. Although the project took three years to complete, most residents agree that it was worth the wait. The tower, which was built in 1885, had been closed for a decade due to safety concerns. The restoration team has managed to preserve the original Victorian features while adding a modern glass lift for accessibility. Visitors can now climb to the top to enjoy panoramic views of the city. It is a fantastic example of how historical landmarks can be adapted for the 21st century.
