There are 2 ways we can structure these adjectives (nouns).

These adjectives function as nouns to describe a group of people and characteristics.

They are used to describe groups in general, not individual people.

Rich people = the rich

Blind people = the blind

Old people = the old

English people = the English

French people = the French

Italian people = the Italians

German people = the Germans

1. He works for a charity which helps the homeless.

2. The Brazilians love festivals.

3. Old people need to talk to people.
