Causative

  • To say when someone does something for you
  • Have + subject + past participle

Linkers

  • Notwithstanding – Shows a contrast and introduces an exception.
  • Provided that – used to show two ideas and one idea is a strict requirement depending on the other.
  • Given – similar to ‘considering’. Used to introduce information that influences the rest of the sentence.

Writing an Analysis

  • Include an introduction and conclusion
  • Give deeper explanations and use evidence to back up your points
  • Use formal language
  • Separate different points into different paragraphs
