Read the blog about the future of books and answer the questions.
I recently had a debate with a friend about whether physical books are becoming obsolete. She argued that e-readers are more convenient because you can carry a thousand stories in one pocket. I understand her point; however, I believe that the ‘experience’ of a real book cannot be replaced. The smell of the paper and the feeling of turning a page create a connection that a screen just doesn’t provide. Furthermore, research suggests that we remember information better when we read it on a physical page. While digital books are certainly here to stay, I suspect that traditional libraries will remain popular for a long time.
