Two months ago, my husband and I decided to leave London and move to a small village in Cornwall. We had lived in the city for ten years, but we were tired of the noise and the crowded underground. Life here is much slower and quieter. In London, I used to spend an hour commuting to work, but now I work from home, which is much less stressful. The best part is being able to see the sea from our kitchen window. However, there is one disadvantage: there aren’t many shops here, so we have to drive for twenty minutes just to get a loaf of bread! Overall, though, I’m much happier now.
